A very simple and sweet song about cooking with the meager ingredients of peas and water. Many know this rhyme as Peas Porridge Hot. Both words conger up the image of a rather unappetizing thick green soup made it a pot. One wonders whether it would have been more or less digestible after 9 days ... The strong rhythmical aspect of this song lends it to being turned into a clapping game, which is what we've done here.
