Once I caught a fish alive

A comical counting rhyme about going fishing, catching a fish but having to let it jump back into the water after having one's finger bitten by the brute! Row row row ya boat is a good song to preempt this one. One can also play at going on a fishing expedition by miming casting ones line out and reeling it in a couple of times, unsuccessfully, before actually “catching” the fish one is about to sing about.
