Three Little Kittens

Three Little Kittens

Three Little Kittens follows an interaction, involving mittens, between three kittens and their mother. The kittens first lose the mittens, then find the mittens then soil the mittens and finally wash the mittens. The ending has a surprise moment where the mother's attention is diverted from the scolding or praising of her kittens, by a rat! The rhyme also speaks of a pie. Gesturing pies is something really quite challenging, especially if you are teaching non-native speakers who in all likelihood have no inner reference for what a pie might be or look like. Which gesture would you choose?
